“Every human being has hundreds of separate people living under his skin. The talent of a writer is his ability to give them their separate names, identities, personalities and have them relate to other characters living with him.”

  – Mel Brooks

Jason Abofsky is an author of Science Fiction and Fantasy whose interest began in the world of fan fiction—an interest that sparked a desire to design a new world from scratch. Since those early days, Jason has honed his skills over several years learning to tell a good story well.

In his free time, Jason enjoys attending the Pennsylvania and Maryland Renaissance Festivals and DragonCon in Atlanta, Georgia. He also enjoys reading many Science Fiction/Fantasy novels. His favorite author is Brandon Sanderson and has strived to model his writing style after the NY Times bestselling author.

He retains a slight conversational knowledge of Japanese after spending several weeks in Tokyo. He is fond of Japanese culture and entertainment and is always willing to go back again.

Jason grew up on Long Island, NY where he was an avid boy scout, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout in December, 2000.

Jason loves dogs and likes cats. But currently settled on a cat, who requires less care during the workday. But he raised that cat like a dog and taught him to follow him to the mailbox and play fetch.

The cat’s name is Vash the Stampede—”The Feline Typhoon”—and he lives up to that name, wreaking havoc on anything with feathers.
